Anders Lindegaard makes a decisive save to deny Queens Park Rangers midfielder Chery from putting his side 2-0 up in the latest clash on Saturday.
Rangers was leading 1-0 at that time and with only 7 minutes left to play, it would have been match won for them if they have scored. Lindegaard produced a magnificent save to stop Chery who was clear on goal.
In the closing minute of the game, Greg Cunningham managed to find room down the left, crossed into the box to find Eoin Doyle who scored from 12 yards into the bottom corner to earn Preston North End a well-deserved draw.
Anders Lindergaard is currently on loan from West Bromwich Albion. He has joined Preston North End on 23rd January 2016 for the remainder of the 2015/2016 season. He made his debut in a match against Derby where he helped his team keep a clean sheet. His performance in this first home game was also exceptional where he earned the man of the match award.
Lindergaard has played with various teams that have helped him to gain a wealth of experience at the highest level. The summit of his career has been his signing for Manchester United where he made 29 appearances for the Red Devils. He made his debut in the Champions League against Benfica in 2011 where he helped his side manage a 1-1 draw.
Anders Lindegaard has also represented his country, Danemark at the highest level where he made 9 appearances. Most of the games were in the Euro 2012 qualifiers where he made some brilliant saves to help his team qualify for the finals.
Now at Preston North End where he has already made 9 appearances, Lindegaard hopes that his experience will help his side achieve some good results and climb up the table.
